Greetings Fellow Amateurs and Enthusiasts!

Thanks for visiting, the official website of the Crow River Amateur Radio Club. Our club is based in Hutchinson, MN and includes members from a large surrounding area. All interested parties are welcome to join the club and take part in its activities.

CRARC was formed in 1995 and is a Charter Affiliated ARRL club. We currently have some 35 members on the roster. In it's first seven years the club has been active in such areas as Licensing Classes and VE sessions, Skywarn, Field Day, School and Youth involvement, and Public demonstrations of Amateur Radio, to name a few.

We hold monthly meetings at few locations around the area. Watch the main page for locations and times. Weekly Thursday evening nets begin at 8PM on the 147.375 MHz (+600 Hz offset and a 146.2 Hz tone) repeater located in Hutchinson. It's a good way to practice emergency communications and keep in touch between monthly meetings by passing on news and views. We also have a Yahoo group email reflector to keep everyone up to speed on what's happening or pose questions. Just click on the Reflector link for the details.

As I begin my term as club President in January of 2007, it is my goal to maintain and build on our history of making CRARC a place where any Amateur is welcomed and supported, regardless of what their personal focus within the hobby may be. I have found CRARC to be a warm extension of the brotherhood we as Amateurs share. Our membership is diverse in its age, background, and Amateur experience, and you will find many folks willing to share what they know.

Whether you're just getting started in this great hobby of ours, or if you're an experienced operator looking for other Hams to associate with in our area, I'd like to invite you to join our group. Please feel free to send questions or comments to any of the CRARC officers:
